YAS Gives Back
YAS-A-THON for ThinkCure 2011-YAS Raised $176,000!
Our YAS Gives Back philanthropic effort has been going strong for more then a decade, having raised over 1-million dollars providing donations for ThinkCure! (Cancer research), APLA (Aids Project Los Angeles), The Women's Sports Foundation (Getting underprivileged girls into sports), local schools arts and athletic programs, American Red Cross and the ASPCA for Hurricane Katrina victims and their animals and many other causes. Every time we give back, we strengthen our YAS team and our local communities.
As a cancer survivor, it's especially meaningful to watch my YAS team and the YAS members putting their hearts and souls into fund raising for important causes.
This year YAS raised $176,000 during our 2nd annual YAS-A-THON for ThinkCure and was ThinkCure's leading fundraiser for the second year in a row!
Giving back is so important and it's something business owners should do. After all, it's a win-win proposition for causes that are important to your community and for your business.
By helping others, your business helps strengthen and support your community. And the stronger your community, the stronger your business. It also generates good will for your business. At YAS, fundraisers like the YAS-A-THON for ThinkCure are a powerful way for people to come together for a common cause and to create new friendships and bonds.
I'm very appreciative for all the efforts everyone has put in over the years to help YAS raise funds and awareness for such important causes.
